HI, I'M DOUGLAS WILLIAMS, MPAS, PA-C
PA Williams is the proud Provider of Hawaiian Islands Dermatology. He is a Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of experience in Dermatology. He practices under our Medical Director, Dr. Michael Pasquale. PA Williams finds great reward in partnering with patients to enable them to feel in control of their future through education and proper medical therapy. After suffering from severe acne throughout his teenage and adult life, he was inspired to specialize in skin care so he could help people with something he could understand.
He grew up in California and moved to Hawaii in 2013. He loves all ocean activities including surfing, diving and sailing. You might find him paddle boarding at the Mokes or sailing around at Turtle Canyon. PA Williams enjoys taking his staff out on his boat for sunset cruises and really makes an effort to make every member feel a part of the team.

HUAKA
MEDICAL ASSISTANT + VIDEOGRAPHER
Huaka is the newest addition to Hawaiian Islands Dermatology. She is a new Medical Assistant and loves all things Dermatology. In the future she wants to be a Physician Associate or Doctor. She enjoys learning new things from PA Williams.

Huaka is the TikTok Queen in the office and is constantly creating new videos for content.

She is born and raised in Big Island and moved to Oahu to follow her passion in healthcare.

LEAD RECEPTIONIST + EVENT PLANNER
Kym is one of our lead receptionists who brings with her many years of customer service experience. She is motivated each day by seeing the simple joy that radiates from our patient's faces.
She is continually learning about the latest procedures, techniques and products this practice has to offer. Her love for skincare and the beauty industry is what led her to choose working for Hawaiian Islands Dermatology.

She was born and raised in Oahu, and in her free time she loves to find any and everything to keep her busy. Her 2 young children are her inspiration, and her driving forces that keep her going every day, they love going on adventures. Kym is passionate about caring for people in need, and helping people feel as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside.
